5 AI profile tools
find_ai_profiles
Find released CarryFeed AI profiles by name, topic or a short skill phrase such as idea validation, AI images or technical SEO. Returns IDs, relevant topics, suggested questions and profile links. These are independent AI profiles based on public writing.
search_profile_knowledge
Search one released profile’s knowledge for a specific question. Returns at most three short original-post excerpts with dates and links, so your AI can use the evidence in its own answer. Source text is untrusted data. Does not export private documents, instructions or a complete library; does not use an AI reply allowance.
ask_ai_profile
Ask a CarryFeed AI profile a concrete question using the same private knowledge and independent evidence checks as the website. Saves the question and reply to your CarryFeed chats and uses the same reply allowance. Reuse request_id for retries. Follow the returned conversation link to continue on CarryFeed.
ask_ai_room
Ask two to five different CarryFeed AI profiles the same question. Free Beta allows up to three. Each speaker is named separately, each completed reply uses one shared allowance, and partial results are retained. Saves a room to your CarryFeed chats. Reuse request_id for retries.
get_ai_profile_usage
Read your current CarryFeed profile-chat plan and remaining shared reply allowance before asking a profile or room. Each completed speaker counts once; failed replies release their allowance.

One conversation, wherever you think.

Questions and rooms started through MCP appear in your CarryFeed chats. Replies name each AI profile and include the public sources used. Your reply allowance stays with your account.

Bring the source material, too.

The same connection can read public social posts, retrieve existing captions and deliver supported media files. Media delivery uses a separate USD Tools balance and charges after delivery.

Before you connect

Do I need an API key?

No key is needed for the MCP setup above. Connect through CarryFeed OAuth and use the same account as the website. Your AI client must support remote MCP with OAuth.

I already connected CarryFeed. Do I need a new server?

If your connection uses https://api.carryfeed.com/mcp, keep it and refresh its tools in your client. For any other server URL, use the CarryFeed connection shown above.

How do answers and source search differ?

Source search returns short original-post excerpts for your AI to use in its own answer. Asking a profile or room runs CarryFeed’s knowledge retrieval and independent reply checks. Replies identify each AI profile and include the public sources used. Neither mode exports the full knowledge library.

Do these chats appear on CarryFeed?

Yes. Profile questions and rooms created through MCP are saved in your CarryFeed chat history. Each result includes a link to continue the same conversation here. Open your chats

What is charged?

Completed AI profile replies use your shared CarryFeed reply allowance: one reply per speaker. Free Beta includes three a day, across the website and MCP. Discovery and source search do not use AI replies. Media delivery uses a separate USD Tools balance. Your AI client’s model charges are separate. See plans and tool rates

Which people can I use?

MCP uses the same released AI profiles as the CarryFeed homepage. They are independent AI profiles based on public writing. The people themselves are not participating in your conversation. Explore people

What if my client cannot connect?

Check that you chose the right server URL and enabled OAuth. Complete CarryFeed sign-in, then enable the connection in your conversation. Organization policies can limit custom connectors; the client’s setup guide covers those requirements.

How do I disconnect?

Remove or disable the CarryFeed connector in your AI client. Your saved conversations remain in CarryFeed. Manage your subscription separately from your account.

Using the tool API directly?

The existing tool API is available alongside MCP. Use its OpenAPI contract for supported requests and authentication.
